Chris Mafera's commercial finance experience began in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1985. In 1987, he established the original Chris Mafera Capital Corporation, building a business focused on commercial lending and financing solutions.
Following the acquisition of the original business in 2021, the Chris Mafera Capital name returned in September 2026.
Today's CMCC is a newly established business drawing upon its founder's decades of commercial finance experience, including commercial real estate lending, financing product development and capital advisory services.
CMCC operates as a nationwide commercial finance advisory, brokerage and consulting firm, helping business owners and professional referral partners identify and pursue financing through independent third-party funding providers.

Chris E. Mafera, Founder
Chris E. Mafera began his commercial finance career in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1985. His experience includes commercial lending and commercial real estate finance, bridge financing, investment property financing, owner-occupied commercial real estate financing, commercial financing product development and nationwide commercial lending relationships.
A historical professional profile identifies Chris as Executive Vice President and Director of Real Estate Product Development at Everist Equity Partners, a division of Cayman Capital Funding, where he was associated with the introduction of five commercial real estate financing products. Those were programs of that firm at that time and are not CMCC products.
From 2021 to 2026, his professional activities continued through successor operations, including Chris Mafera & Daughter Capital Corp. Inc., which focused on commercial, fix-and-flip and rental property financing.
