SBA Calculator
Model an illustrative SBA-style payment and guarantee-fee estimate. Not an SBA approval.
What Does the SBA Calculator Do?
The SBA Calculator estimates the monthly payment for an illustrative SBA-style loan after adding a guarantee fee you enter to the loan amount. It shows three rate scenarios so you can see how the payment changes. It does not determine eligibility and is not an SBA quote.

Inputs, Results and Assumptions
What You Enter
- Requested amount: the loan amount before fees.
- Interest rate %: the annual rate to model.
- Term years: the repayment period.
- Guarantee fee %: a fee assumption, added to the amount financed.
What the Results Show
- Guarantee fee: the fee percentage applied to the requested amount.
- Financed amount: requested amount plus the fee.
- Monthly payment: principal and interest on the financed amount.
Assumptions and Limits
- Actual SBA program rules, fee schedules, rates and terms are set by the program and the participating lender and can change. Enter the fee you want to test.
- No other closing costs are included.
- The three scenarios use your entered rate, a rate 10% lower and a rate 10% higher (for example, 8.25% becomes about 7.43% and 9.08%).
The numbers pre-filled in the fields are sample values so the tool shows a result on first load. They are not CMCC rates, quotes or offers.
SBA Calculator FAQs
Does this calculator tell me whether I qualify for an SBA-backed loan?
No. Eligibility depends on the program, the business, the use of funds and the lender's underwriting. See the SBA financing page and the SBA financing guide for how CMCC approaches an SBA review.
Why is the guarantee fee added to the loan?
The calculator assumes the fee is financed, which raises the amount on which interest is calculated. If a fee would be paid in cash instead, set the fee to 0 to see the payment without it.
Is CMCC the lender on an SBA-backed loan?
No. CMCC is a commercial finance advisory and brokerage firm, not a direct lender. SBA-guaranteed loans are made by participating lenders.
